Every person deserves the freedom to make their own choices about their life, their work, and their future — without unnecessary government interference.

Congress must follow the Constitution and reclaim its responsibility to check executive power, especially when it comes to war and federal authority.

Decentralizing Power

Decisions should be made closer to the people they affect. Many responsibilities currently held by Washington belong with states, communities, and individuals.

Free Markets

Government should not distort markets or punish consumers through policies like tariffs. Free markets create innovation, opportunity, and prosperity.

Foreign Policy

Foreign policy should be guided by peace, trade, and respect for the sovereignty of other nations.

When governments try to reshape the world through military intervention, they waste trillions of dollars, create unintended consequences, and make our country less safe at home. A strong America defends itself when necessary but avoids unnecessary wars, focusing instead on free trade, diplomacy, and the prosperity that comes from minding our own business.

Taylor Wright believes the strength of America lies in free individuals and strong communities.

As a physical education teacher and someone who works extensively with adults with special needs, Taylor has spent his career helping people grow in confidence, independence, and dignity.

Those experiences shaped his belief that people—not distant bureaucracies—are best equipped to shape their own lives and communities.

Taylor loves people, loves learning, and believes that when individuals are free, communities thrive.

That belief is why he’s running for Congress.
